Minster Organ Recitals

Thursday's at 1.00pm

The aclaimed Minster Organ Recital Series continues. This week we welcome Graham Gribbin, the Minster Organist who will play music for Passiontide. Lunch is available from 12.15pm (£4). there will be a retiring collection.

 

 Holy Week

Throughout Holy Week we will be joined by our Visiting Pilgrim, the Revd Canon John Holmes, former Missioner in the Diocese of Wakefield. There will be a Eucharist Service from Monday to Wednesday at 7.30pm. On Maundy Thursday there will be a Sung Eucharist at 7.30pm with foot washing which will be followed by the a Vigil until midnight. The Good Friday Liturgy will be sung by the Chamber Choir at 1.30pm and the Easter Eve Service takes place on Saturday at 7pm 

Easter Saturday

The Easter Vigil at 7.00pm with Jonathan, Bishop of Huddersfield and joined by the Saturday Gathering.

 

Easter Sunday

9.am Eucharist.
10.30am Choral Eucharist with Brass followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for children.
4pm Easter Choral Evensong at All Souls, Haley Hill
 
 
 
Saturday 11th May at Halifax Minster 7pm.

AND HOW THE BATTLE WAS CELEBRATED BY HALIFAX PARISH CHURCH.
